Brazos Valley Livestock Commission provides dependable livestock sales and auction services for buyers and sellers throughout Bryan, TX and the surrounding Brazos Valley area. Our sale barn hosts a weekly livestock auction every Tuesday at noon, with cattle making up the majority of each sale. Horses, goats, sheep, replacement cattle, and packer cattle may also be available. Whether you are bringing livestock to market or looking to purchase cattle, our team works to make the buying and selling process straightforward and organized.
Beyond weekly auctions, Brazos Valley Livestock Commission offers additional services to support local livestock owners and buyers. These include order buying assistance, transportation for consigned and purchased cattle, temporary holding pens, cattle buying, and livestock consulting. Order Buying – If you’re looking for livestock and need assistance with purchasing cattle at the sale, contact a member of the BVLC management team. BVLC can buy livestock on your behalf to meet your exact needs.
Transportation – Brazos Valley Livestock offers transportation services for consigned and sold livestock. If you need to have livestock picked up for the sale, contact the BVLC office to make arrangements. Purchased livestock can be delivered at the seller’s expense.
Dispersals – BVLC can handle dispersals within its weekly sale. This includes cows, pairs, bulls and other livestock. Please contact the office in advance so that arrangements can be made, including promotion of the dispersal.
Layovers and Temporary Yardage – BVLC can assist with layovers or temporary yardage for all kinds of livestock. Contact the office to schedule and discuss pen options.
Facility Rental – The Brazos Valley Livestock Commission facilities are available for rent for sales, demonstrations and special events. Contact the office to discuss your needs and options.
Consulting – Members of the BVLC management team are available to consult with you on your livestock needs. Whether you’re just getting started or if you are looking to change your program, the BVLC team has marketing experience and knowledge to help meet your goals.
